Asbury is always interested in driver applicants with Class A and B drivers. Hazardous Waste Training is a plus, as well as manifesting experience. Click here for an driver application. Below are our company qualifications for drivers:

 

• Minimum age requirement is 21 years old.

 

• Minimum 2 years (3 to 4 years preferred) safe commercial driving experience.

 

• No DUI or Reckless Driving convictions within past 5 years.

 

• Cannot have had more than 2 moving violations in the last 36 months. Must pass company-administered driving skills test.

 

• Must pass Department of Transportation (DOT) medical examination.

 

• If applying for a Class A position, you must possess a current Class A CDL with Tanker, Doubles, and Hazmat Endorsements.

 

• If applying for a Class B position, you must possess a current Class B CDL with Hazmat & Tanker Endorsements.

 

• Applicant shall present an official DMV driver record printout dated within 15 days of employment.

 

• Applicant shall take a DOT pre-employment drug test which must be negative and may need to pass a respiratory physical too.

 

• Company will not hire drivers who have either refused a random drug test or tested positive during any period of employment as a professional driver.

 

• Must pass a professional background investigation.
